Ice Melts

We can know freedom from suffering when the light of Dhamma, of Truth, rises in our heart. Applying the right nutrients, developing ethical practice, maturing the wisdom within the stillness of our own  mind, we experience the illumination of Truth. Melting ignorance is the blossoming of wisdom penetrates through the mask of delusion to  a profound inner connection . This is pure presence, awareness and compassion, and the heart’s true freedom. A talk given during a 10 day Ottawa Buddhist Society retreat at the Sisters of St. Joseph Convent, Pembroke, Ontario, Canada in 2009.
