Buddhist Women on a Path of Spiritual Awakening
As spiritual pilgrims, we work to free the mind from poisonous currents and thereby we know the heart’s liberation. It’s a special journey, rare, perhaps arduous and exhausting, at times, but not to be abandoned. For this is the Buddha’s roadmap to inner peace. Knowing the harm of reactivity, moral weakness, and worldly distractions, we let go of negative thoughts and tendencies and we sustain our resilience by abiding in compassion, benevolence, and wise reflection. Facing even unwieldy mental states, we find rescue in the interior castle of the heart. We guard it well, with vigour and joy in the silence of pure awareness.
